AEAweb: Account Creation Request: Instructions and Information


 

Instructions & Information

An AEAweb account will enable you to access the e-JEL, e-JEP, and e-AER Web sites. To have your account set up, you must first be an AEA member. To activate your account you will need to follow three steps.

  1. Choose a Userid and Password; your Userid can include any lowercase letter or number, and your Password can include any letter, number, or special character. This will become the Userid and Password that you will need to enter each time you wish to access the AEAweb publications Web Sites. Choose something that you will remember.
  2. Enter requested information so that we can locate you in our subscriber database. Your name, email address, and phone number are all required. These are used for identification purposes only.
  3. Hit the Submit button. Hitting the submit button will transmit your information to us and enable us to begin the creation of your account.

Once you have submitted your information, we will provide you with notification via email when your account has been created. If you don't receive this notification within two business days, please contact us at 412-432-2301.

Note: passwords are encrypted and stored securely, but verification of your password is by email (which is not necessarily secure). Ultimately, you are responsible for the information you provide on the Internet. The safest procedure is to use a unique password for each account or site that you access.
